Crime & Safety meetings are hosted once a month in each Police District by that district’s Community Liaison Officer (CLO). The purpose of these meetings is to bring Milwaukee Police Department (MPD) together with residents to discuss safety issues and concerns happening in their neighborhoods from both perspectives. Topics of every meeting vary including going over crime statistics for that area or featuring a representative from an organization like the Department of Neighborhood Services (DNS), domestic violence, or a probationary agent.
