September 18, 2019 – MILWAUKEE, WI Safe & Sound welcomed three new members to the Board of Directors at the organization’s board meeting on September 10th. Erica Gumieny (Aurora Health Care), Barbara Smith (Community Volunteer & Former President of Amani United), and Molly Schweiger (PNC Financial Services) all bring expertise and community engagement skills to inform Safe & Sound’s organizational strategy, furthering the mission to unite residents, youth, law enforcement and community resoruces to build safe and empowered neighborhoods.

The board also thanked Jeffrey Sprau of Therma for his ten years of service as a board member. Jeff was a key member of Safe & Sound’s first-ever strategic planning committee in 2015, which resulted in a complete organizational restrucutre, and as of 2018, all of the objectives were complete.
