Mission
Safe & Sound develops, supports, and facilitates collaborative approaches to measurably reduce violent crime by blending law enforcement, neighborhood organizing, and youth development.

What is Safe & Sound?
Safe & Sound is a Community based anti-crime fighting initiative whose main goal is to reduce crime by bringing resources together like never before.  Safe & Sound uses a 3-prong approach which includes Youth Development, Neighborhood Organizing, and Tough Law Enforcement.

Youth Development
Safe & Sound Safe Places give children and teenagers safe places to go that offer positive, constructive activities during the critical after-school, evening, weekend and summer hours.

Neighborhood Organizing
Community partners go door-to-door in specific neighborhoods and plan events to share information and help residents support law enforcements and neighborhood revitalization.

Tough Law Enforcement
Federal, state and local authorities cooperate and communicate to target gangs, drug pushers and gun traffickers in the highest crime neighborhoods.
